I trained at Westminster Hospital and underwent plastic surgery training at the regional plastic surgery unit Queen Marys, Roehampton. I rotated in my training to the Royal Marsden Hospital, Fulham; St Thomas' Hospital and the Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital.

I have been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Wessex Plastic Surgery Unit, based at Salisbury District Hospital since February 1984. I was lead consultant at the Burns Unit from February 1984 until November 2000 and I have been in private and NHS practice for 23 years.
